"Out here in the open, as a child unspoken, I found my voice through the pain of the strings that I've broken."

Lighthouse  Jessie Dipper

Jessie is an artist, producer and songwriter based between South Wales, Nottingham and London. Her work spans the UK and US music industries, with credits across TV, sync and commercial releases. Known for her distinctive vocal range — from gravelly grit to falsetto clarity — Jessie’s voice is as versatile as her creative output, carrying stories with both weight and lightness.

As a songwriter and top-liner, she has collaborated with a range of artists and writers, including Grammy Award-winner Amy Wadge, and has contributed to projects with SONY, BMG, Love Island US, Hollyoaks and Eurovision. Her writing is rooted in emotional honesty and melodic instinct, shaped by years of experience across genres and formats.

Jessie has performed in over 15 countries, touring independently both solo and with her band. UK audiences may recognise her from support slots with Scouting For Girls and Megan McKenna, while international listeners have caught her live in the US, Australia, parts of Africa and across Europe.

Jessie’s 2022 album Sticky Floors marked a turning point in her creative journey — a raw, coming-of-age body of work that laid the foundation for a new chapter. The release, while independently on tour in NYC, was followed by a UK tour supporting Scouting For Girls, bringing her music to wider audiences and cementing her presence on the live circuit. In 2023, she released Sticky Floors (Live), a six-track EP capturing the energy and evolution of those performances. The writing and experiences from this era continue to echo forward, influencing her upcoming single I'm A Mess — a track that threads together the vulnerability and grit that have become hallmarks of her ‘folk-grunge’ sound.

In 2024, Jessie released Hiraeth — her first fully self-produced project. This nine-track EP was an experimental and collaborative exploration of belonging, shaped by field recordings and voices from across the globe. Created in transit — mixed on planes, trains, buses and car rides — Hiraeth captures the in-between spaces of movement and memory. A sonic love letter to Wales and the wider world, it reflects Jessie’s instinct for building musical worlds that are both personal and shared.

Her most recent release, Nashville Vignettes EP, arrived in June 2025 — a collection of songs shaped by time spent writing and recording in the US. Her next single, the long-awaited studio version of I'm A Mess, lands on 1st August 2025, recorded with her full band to reflect the raw energy of their live shows.

Alongside her creative work, Jessie lectures in music performance and songwriting at university level, mentoring emerging artists and contributing to the next generation of the music industry.
