"Out here in the open, as a child unspoken, I found my voice through the pain of the strings that I've broken."
Lighthouse Jessie Dipper
Jessie Dipper is an artist, producer, and songwriter based between South Wales, Nottingham, and London. Her work spans the UK and US music industries, with credits across TV, sync, and commercial releases. Known for her distinctive vocal range - from gravelly grit to falsetto clarity - and friendly persona(!) Jessie’s voice is as versatile as her creative output, carrying stories with both weight and lightness.

As a songwriter and topliner, Jessie has collaborated with a range of artists and writers, including Grammy Award-winner Amy Wadge, and contributed to projects with SONY, BMG, Love Island US, Hollyoaks, and Eurovision. Her writing is rooted in emotional honesty and melodic instinct, shaped by years of experience across genres and formats.

Jessie has performed in over 15 countries, touring independently both solo and with her band. UK audiences may recognise her from support slots with Scouting For Girls and Megan McKenna, while international listeners have caught her live in the US, Australia, Africa, and across Europe. Her reputation as a fearless live performer continues to grow, with sets that balance raw vulnerability and explosive energy.

Her discography charts a bold creative evolution. The 2022 album Sticky Floors marked a turning point — a raw, coming-of-age body of work that laid the foundation for a new chapter. This was followed by Sticky Floors (Live) in 2023, capturing the grit and electricity of her performances. In 2024, Jessie released Hiraeth, her first fully self-produced project: a nine-track album shaped by field recordings and voices from across the globe, created in transit and infused with themes of belonging and memory.

Most recently, her Nashville Vignettes EP (June 2025) showcased songs recorded live and unplugged across the city, during her recent time in Nashville, TN. While her upcoming I’m A Mess EP (2026) collates long-awaited studio tracks with her full band. Having released several singles during 2025 as a prelude to the EP, this project threads together raw authenticity, grit, and vulnerability — from the explosive rock edge of I’m A Mess, angsty frustration of Oxygen, to the heart-breaking piano ballad, I hope you don't mind me writing, that closes the release. Together, these works cement Jessie’s evolving ‘folk-grunge’ sound: a fusion of blues grit, grunge volatility, and lyrical honesty.

Alongside her creative work, Jessie lectures in music performance and songwriting at university level, mentoring emerging artists and contributing to the next generation of the music industry. Whether in the studio, classroom, or on stage, her artistry bridges mainstream and faith-driven audiences, weaving stories of suffering, hope, and resilience.
